Manuel Pellegrini will be sacked this summer if Manchester City fail to land the Premier League title. That’s the view of former Blues striker Rodney Marsh, who claims the Chilean’s days at the Etihad may be numbered. City have crashed out of two cup competitions in a week, following defeats to Wigan in the FA Cup and Barcelona in the Champions League, and are nine points off Premier League leaders Chelsea, but hold three matches in hand. Man City won the Capital One Cup earlier this month but Marsh believes that won’t save Pellegrini from the chop.
