After it was announced by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday that former Phoenix Suns center Greg Monroe had agreed to a contract buyout with the team, it appears that he is on the radar of the New Orleans Pelicans and a handful of other teams. Wojnarowski thinks that Monroe will draw a large amount of interest from teams around the NBA once he becomes an unrestricted free agent. According to a tweet on Wednesday night by Keith Smith of RealGM, the Pelicans will try to lure Monroe to them with a starting gig as well as a chance to return to his hometown of New Orleans.
