Although starting New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Eric Gordon is expected to miss his third consecutive preseason game on Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic Coach Monty Williams said he is making progress with his conditioning. Before training camp opened Williams said Gordon would miss the first two weeks of the preseason so he can work himself back into shape after undergoing ankle surgery in May and extensive rehabilitation work for nearly the entire summer. ``He's getting some reps in with the guys so we're looking at that same (two week) timetable'' Williams said after his team's shootaround on Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Arena. Meanwhile swingman Tyreke Evans continues to wear a protective walking boot on his left foot. Evans sprained his left ankle in last Saturday's preseason opener against the Houston Rockets. ``He probably going to be out seven to 10 days I would imagine depending on how his ankle responds to treatment'' Williams said.
