The Red Sox shouldn't expect much in the way of postseason hardware, but two members of the team — one current, and one former — will be up for Gold Gloves this year. Second baseman Dustin Pedroia and first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, now with the Dodgers, were nominated for Gold Gloves in voting announced by Rawlings last night. Pedroia is a two-time Gold Glover, having taken home the award in 2008 and '11. Gonzalez, who was traded to the National League club in August, did enough in roughly five months in the American League to earn the nomination as he vies for his fourth award, joining the ones he won in 2008, '09 and '11. Also nominated at second base are New York's Robinson Cano and Seattle's Dustin Ackley. Cano won the award in 2010, while Ackley is a first-time nominee. On the first base side, Gonzalez is up against New York's Mark Teixeira and Eric Hosmer of the Royals.
