I’m working on a longer piece trying to plot out Stephen Curry’s place in the NBA cosmos as he follows up his MVP performance last season with–so far–something grander, more sublime and tangibly better this season. Curry’s a moving target, though; he and the Warriors keep rising, and that’s part of this piece (eventually), too: Where is this going to end up? How far up the NBA all-time ladder might Curry get? We know it starts with Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell and probably Magic Johnson and Larry Bird… and my starting point is that Curry is marching to a place right there underneath that trinity + two, So I’m seeking out opinions of the highest level, and who better than Steve Nash, recently retired two-time former MVP, a model player for Curry, and currently a Warriors player development consultant.
Steve Nash on Curry: “You’d be hard pressed to find a player more skilled than him in the history of he game”
