Odell Beckham Jr. showed up for the start of Giants minicamp Tuesday despite still recovering from an ankle injury, according to multiple reports. Though Beckham did not take part in the actual minicamp practice, he was at the facilities, a gesture new coach Pat Shurmur appreciated. Throughout most of the offseason, Beckham's place on the Giants' roster had seemed fluid, with a number of trade rumors floating around. Beckham had been linked with the Rams before Los Angeles scooped up Brandin Cooks from the Patriots, and even the Browns had been mentioned as a possible destination for him. However, Shurmur all but ended the speculation surrounding Beckham's place on the team Tuesday by saying the receiver would "absolutely" be on the Giants in 2018.
