Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Panthers have signed K Graham Gano to a long-term contract before today’s franchise tag deadline. According to Rapoport, Gano gets a four-year, $17 million contract with $9 million guaranteed. Mike Garafolo points out that at $4.25 million per year, Gano is now the second-highest-paid kicker in the league. The Panthers have already confirmed that they’ve signed Gano to a four-year extension.
