This morning the Carolina Panthers announced the additions of Bruce DeHaven, and Lance Taylor to Ron Rivera's coaching staff. They will fill the roles of assistant special teams coach, and offensive quality control coach respectively. DeHaven is a 25-year veteran coach, with experience on the Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, and Seattle Seahawks. His tie to general manager Dave Gettleman comes in the form of his first stint in Buffalo in the late 1980's. In Carolina he'll assist Richard Rodgers, and with a wealth of experience as a special teams coordinator -- it's safe to say he'll be an interim possibility, if needed.
