The Carolina Panthers added depth to a banged-up receiver group Wednesday night, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting that the signing of former Las Vegas Raiders wideout Willie Snead to the team’s practice squad.

The 5-foot-11, 200 pounder is in his seventh season in the league, having played for the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens and, most recently, the Las Vegas Raiders. Throughout his 93-game career, the veteran receiver has logged 278 receptions for 3,425 yards on a 67-percent catch rate.
