San Diego Padres right-hander Mike Clevinger left Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Angels after one inning of work with an apparent injury. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI, according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Clevinger initially had his start pushed to Wednesday due to biceps tendinitis.

The team suspects the ailment is either a recurrence of tendonitis or a muscle strain, sources told Acee.
