Ian Rapoport of NFL Media mentions that he would be “very surprised” if the Packers keep both Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, given how much they’re set to make and their recent production. Of the two, Rapoport says he wouldn’t be surprised if Cobb ends up looking for a job this offseason. There has been talk this offseason that Nelson and Cobb could be release or restructure candidates, depending on how the Packers want to approach this situation. Nelson offered an interesting response a few months agowhen asked if he could be done as NFL player. “I don’t know,” Nelson said, via Jason Wilde of Madison.com. “I’ll look at myself after the season. That’s the question I’ll have for personnel (people). I think it’s hard for me to judge it personally.
