Former Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy is preparing to return the the NBA this season after a knee injury shut down his career last year. Roy can't return to the Blazers this year so he is free to sign with any team willing to take a chance that the knee will hold up for a year or two. According to reports, Roy has looked great on the court and today Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Indiana Pacers are among a handful of teams with a serious shot at signing the 6'6" shooting guard. Roy's previous relationship with current Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard, not to mention a need for a wing who can take and make big shots, puts the Pacers in play for Roy.
