When the San Francisco Giants signed Pablo Sandoval in July, both parties were hoping that a change of scenery would revive Kung Fu Panda’s career. That has not been the case. Sandoval has been even worse with San Francisco than he was with Boston, which is saying a lot. He is also in the middle of a historically bad streak. Sandoval went 0-for-4 on Monday against the Rockies. The poor showing dropped his batting average below the Mendoza line and also marked his ninth straight start without a hit. Panda is 0 for his last 33. He has the longest hitless streak with the Giants since 1984.
