St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Tuesday the club has placed forward T.J. Oshie on injured reserve. In addition, the Blues recalled goaltender Jake Allen and forward Adam Cracknell from the club’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen. Allen has been recalled under emergency conditions due to goaltender Jaroslav Halak’s lower-body injury, which he suffered during the first period in the Blues’ 4-1 win in Minnesota on Monday night. Oshie, 26, has dressed in 30 games this season and is tied for fifth on the club with 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) to go along with 15 penalty minutes. Allen, 22, has appeared in 12 games with the Blues this season, posting an 8-3-0 record with a 2.45 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. In 35 games with the Rivermen, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound goaltender has a record of 13-19-2 with a 2.89 goals-against average, .904 save percentage and two shutouts.
