Oregon State guard Stephen Thompson Jr. has withdrawn his name from the 2017 NBA draft and will return to school for his junior season. Thompson was one of 137 college players who entered the June 22 draft with remaining eligibility. Underclassmen who entered the draft without hiring an agent have until May 24 to decide whether to return to school. A team source told The Oregonian/OregonLive in March that the 6-foot-4 son of assistant coach Stephen Thompson Sr. intended to utilize the draft evaluation process but planned to return to school.
