Oregon and Iowa had the splashiest wins in the second full week of the college football season. As a result, they make the most significant jumps in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.
The Ducks vault all the way from No. 11 to No. 4 on the heels of their victory at Ohio State. They Hawkeyes, also impressive in a victory at archrival Iowa State, climb five places to No. 7.
Alabama and Georgia remain in the top two positions following easy wins, with the Crimson Tide continuing to receive all but one first-place votes. Oklahoma climbs back up to No. 3. Oregon leapfrogs Texas A&M, which stays put at No. 5 after needing a late touchdown to escape an upset bid by Colorado.
