Ole Miss heads to Athens, Ga., today to face Georgia in a key Southeastern Conference basketball game. Ole Miss (16-8, 7-4 SEC) and Georgia (13-10, 7-4) are tied for third place in the conference, trailing first-place Florida and second-place Kentucky. Tip off today is 3 p.m. at Stegeman Coliseum and the game will be televised by Fox Sports South. The Rebels are coming off a 67-64 loss at Alabama, one in which Trevor Releford hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 0.6 seconds for the game-winner. Jarvis Summers had tied the game on two free throws with 13 seconds left for the Rebels. Georgia comes off a 75-55 road win at Mississippi State 75-55. Georgia started the season 1-4 but have won 12 of its last 18 games. Sophomore Charles Mann leads the Bulldogs, averaging 13.7 points per game. Ole Miss has won each of the last three meetings at Stegeman Coliseum (76-62 in 2008, 80-76 in 2010, 66-63 in 2012). Summers is one of the most improved players in the SEC as he ranks eighth in the league in scoring at 17.0 points per game.
