Former Oklahoma forward Brady Manek has committed to North Carolina, he announced on social media Friday.
Manek, who ranked No. 19 on The Athletic's list of available players, averaged 10.8 points and 5.0 rebounds during his senior season with the Sooners. His numbers dipped following an impressive junior campaign (14.4 points per game and shooting 38 percent from 3-point range) after he contracted COVID-19 as well as suffered torso injuries during the 2020-21 season.
Manek will join new Tar Heels coach Hubert Davis, who was hired earlier this month after the legendary Roy Williams retired.
