The facial stubble is still intact, only because Edmonton Oilers head coach Dallas Eakins has let a few superstitious tendancies creep into his day to day routine. The Oilers, who have fashioned their first three game win streak of the season, host the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at Rexall Place – with the same lineup in tact of course. That means goaltender Devan Dubnyk — who was named the NHL’s third star, behind the Pittsburgh Penguins Evgeni Malkin and the Montreal Canadiens Max Pacioretty — will make his 10th straight start. Ilya Bryzgalov will start on the upcoming road trip that opens with back-to-back games in Nashville and Columbus. In the meantime, there’s the Blackhawks to contend with. The defending Stanley Cup champs have lost only three of its last 13 games and have scored a league high 87 goals. “I think we have taken a little bit of a step forward. We have a ton of work to do but it’s always a good measuring stick when you have the Stanley Cup champions coming in,” said Eakins. “I just sensed our guys are excited for tonight . . . They want to try and send a message.”
