Another day, another injury … or two. Oilers defenceman Justin Schultz left practice early on Friday complaining or soreness in his ribs while David Perron, who missed last game with an illness is likely out for Saturday against Detroit because of neck issues. “I don’t think he’s going to be (playing),” head coach Dallas Eakins said of Perron. “We’re going to send him for an MRI on his neck to make sure nothing is dysfunctional in there. He has a lot of pain in his neck. He’s questionable, I guess.” So is Schultz. “He has some discomfort in his ribs,” said Eakins. “I think it’s a day-to-day issue. If it sounds like we have to call somebody up I’ll ask Craig (MacTavish) and see who it is.” Later in the day the Oilers called up defenceman Philip Larsen.
