The Edmonton Oilers offence is about to get a boost as forwards Leon Draisaitl and Drake Caggiula are likely to join the lineup Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Draisaitl has missed four games with an eye injury and concussion symptoms suffered Oct. 9 against the Winnipeg Jets. Caggiula, who also suffered a suspected concussion, has been sidelined five games. The forwards’ return comes at the perfect time for the Oilers as they have struggled to put up the kind of offensive numbers expected from the young, fast club. Edmonton has scored just 14 goals this season, ranking them second last in that category behind the Montreal Canadiens despite a league-high shots per game of 38.9.
