Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson has been battling a groin injury as he gets ready for the 2013-14 season to tip off. As of two days ago, it was expected to keep him out of the season-opener when the Nuggets travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings. However, with a little more rest it looks like Lawson will be available against the Kings. Coach Brian Shaw told the media Wednesday that Lawson will play for the Nuggets in their first game of the season, which means he'll be in the starting lineup with Randy Foye, Anthony Randolph, J.J. Hickson, and JaVale McGee like we told you about yesterday.
