North Carolina has lost three of its last four, heading into the first of two semi-annual rubber matches with Duke, dropping games at Virginia Tech, against North Carolina State and Clemson before dusting off ACC dweller Pitt this past Saturday. And while they're certainly lamenting the losses which helped drop their record to 17-6 (6-5) and sixth in the ACC, they aren't giving their opponents anymore credit than their record against them has warranted. You see, though only a 25-minute stretch of I-40 separates their campuses, North Carolina doesn't consider the Wolfpack a rival. That's the way senior point guard Joel Berry put it at the Tar Heels practice Tuesday.
