It’s spring football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish — which generally means there will be some attrition as players see where they fall on the depth chart (as well as many other things). On Friday, we learned that Junior wide receiver Kendall Abdur-Rahman will enter the transfer portal.

Abdur-Rahman was part of the 2019 recruiting class from Edwardsville, Illinois, and turned down offers from the Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones, Indiana Hoosiers, and others to attend Notre Dame. He was considered to be an “athlete” coming in as he played quarterback in high school, but the Irish liked him to play either running back or receiver.
