Jay Gruden isn't going anywhere anytime soon. According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Washington Redskins head coach is not on the hot seat after a disappointing season in which his team could still finish with a below .500 record. There had been some unsubstantiated opinions that Gruden's job could come into question at the end of the year. Per Rapoport, there's a "deep understanding" that the overall record is reflective of the injury crisis the Redskins have been in rather than his ability as a coach. In fact, Gruden has been commended on how he and his staff have kept the wheels from completely falling off, according to Rapoport's sources.
No major changes planned for Redskins' coaching staff
