The Los Angeles Angels announced on Monday that pitcher Tyler Skaggs has died at age 27, and police have provided some new details.

According to a press release from the Southlake Police Department, Skaggs was found dead at the Hilton hotel after a report of an unconscious male came in on Monday afternoon. While the cause of death has not been determined or revealed, police say no foul play is suspected.

Southlake Police later updated their statement to add that suicide is also not suspected.
