Speaking Monday morning to Angelo Cataldi on SportsRadio 94WIP, new Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni hinted that his first offseason with the team could feature a quarterback competition between Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurts.

“We've watched a little bit of tape to this point now," Sirianni said of Wentz and Hurts. "So we're into that process of evaluating those players and I think we have really good talent evaluators."

"A core value, is competition," he continued. "That's competition every where. Everybody is going to compete. I am going to compete with [offensive coordinator] Shane [Steichen] on things. We're going to compete in the building with coaches. Competition is the core value that we're going to use for every single position that we have here with the Philadelphia Eagles."

Cataldi asked the question point blank just to confirm, "And that would include Hurts vs. Wentz. They will compete for the starting job?"
