Calvin Ridley is expected to make an immediate impact with the Atlanta Falcons after they tagged the wide receiver with their first round draft pick this year, much like he did with Alabama during his three years there.

Ridley burst onto the scene in 2015 and maintained an elite level of play that found him cement a prominent place in the school’s record books and leave a legacy that Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban says will be remembered for a long time.

“Calvin Ridley was one of the great receivers in the history of our program,” Saban said during his appearance representing Alabama at this year’s SEC Media Days.

He has a good argument. Ridley appeared in 44 games for the Crimson Tide during his three year collegiate career, catching 224 passes for 2,781 yards and scoring 19 touchdowns.
