After scoring his first NHL goal and probably playing his best game of the season, Stars rookie Valeri Nichushkin is getting bumped up to the top line for tonight’s game against the Bruins. He’s expected to play right wing with center Tyler Seguin and left wing Jamie Benn. “Obviously his play warranted where I put him. He played his best game by far last game,” said Ruff. “I think there was a point where the energy in his game was low, some of that was fatigue. I thought taking him out (healthy scratch Oct. 15) was a good thing to buy him a little bit of time. It’s all about the roller coaster ride that some young players go on. He’s on his way up and we hope we can keep him there, but there’s probably a guarantee that we will have to pick him up again. But by far and away our best skater and probably our best player in (the last) game.”
