The NFL issued the 49ers a warning for the incident in the NFC Championship game in which a Seattle Seahawks player came in contact with a member of the 49ers staff while covering a punt. The 49ers were not fined for the incident, an NFL spokesman told CSNBayArea.com on Tuesday. The play occurred early in the second quarter on a play in which 49ers return man LaMichael James muffed a punt. Seahawks gunner Jeremy Lane was lined up wide on the left side. Tramaine Brock forced Lane out of bounds along the 49ers sideline. An unidentified 49ers staff member – an intern on the team’s strength and conditioning staff – came in contact with Lane, who fell to the ground before getting to his feet and continuing down the field.
