Neymar has agreed to a four-year extension with Paris Saint-Germain, ensuring that he will stay with the club for the long term. The Brazilian forward's previous deal was set to expire in 2022, but Neymar will now remain with PSG until 2026 with the extension. Neymar previously made it clear that he desired to stay with the club, and it looks like the two sides were able to make that happen.
"I am happy today, truly happy," Neymar said over the weekend. "Things have changed a lot. I cannot exactly explain why. Today, I feel good. I have adapted. I am calmer and I am happier. I want to stay with PSG."
The 28-year-old previously played for Santos and Barcelona before joining PSG in August 2017 on a record €222 million deal.
