When the NFL invades Broadway this winter, the term “Great White Way” will take on a whole new meaning. The Daily News exclusively obtained details and artist renderings of some of the major plans the NFL has for “Super Bowl Boulevard” — a football-themed extravaganza between 34th and 44th Sts. Broadway will feature an eight-lane, 180-foot long, 58-foot-high toboggan run able to handle up to 1,000 riders an hour. The run — between 40th and 41st Sts. — will be open from Jan. 29 to Feb. 1, the day before Super Bowl XLVIII is played at MetLife Stadium. The plans for the toboggan ride, along with other events and exhibits, will be officially unveiled on Tuesday. Another feature will be a video mapping show, which will use the facade of Macy’s in Herald Square between 34th and 35th Sts. as a giant screen to view footage from NFL Films. The Vince Lombardi Trophy will be displayed in a custom tent with glass walls between 41st and 42nd Sts.
