Newly-acquired Oakland Raiders running back Rashad Jennings describes himself as a "complete back." "A back that can protect the quarterback, pick up the offense," Jennings said on a conference call with Bay Area writers Thursday afternoon. "A running back that can catch out of the backfield, a running back that can get you first downs, a running back that can get you the long plays; an every-down back. "That's what I hold myself to." Jennings, 28, was a seventh-round draft pick of Jacksonville in 2009 and is familiar with new Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson, who was the Jaguars' quarterbacks coach last season. Jennings was signed to apparently backup Darren McFadden after Mike Goodson signed with the New York Jets and Taiwan Jones made the switch to cornerback. "He's explosive. A patient runner," Jennings said of McFadden. "He knows the game and I'm excited to work with him." McFadden missed four games last season due to an ankle sprain and missed nine in 2011 due to a Lisfranc injury.
