Newcastle United are interested in taking Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy on loan for the season according to Sky Sports. After Harry Redknapp’s side were relegated to the Championship he requested to leave Loftus Road the broadcaster claims just five months after moving from Marseille for £8million. And although a loan deal to St James’ Park won’t gain The Hoops any money it will take Remy’s £75000 wages off their books temporarily. The deal would also suit the player with Remy not wanting to play in England’s second tier in with the World Cup at the end of the league campaign.
