Aston Villa's wantaway striker could be heading to Italy this summer. According to reports Roma are monitoring the situation, following Newcastle boss Alan Pardew's announcement he was looking to bring the 29-year-old to the North East outfit. Talking about targetting Bent and QPR star Loic Remy this summer, he told The Northern Echo: "Both of those players are on our list - I make no bones about that, "But they are under contract at other clubs. It's difficult, you have to be careful. "It's nice for our fans to hear names but I don't want to disrupt other clubs' preparations. But Villa have now reportedly been contacted by Roma about his availability and if they'd be willing to part with him for around £5m.
