New Orleans Hornets guard Eric Gordon said Tuesday that the break he has had since last playing on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets has freshened his body and left him rested for an upcoming four-game-in-six-night stretch beginning Wednesday night at home against the Phoenix Suns. Gordon, who has still not been medically cleared to play back-to-back games because of the rehabilitation protocol surrounding his right knee, said he has benefitted greatly from the rest. "This has been big for me, definitely," Gordon said. "We had a lot of games on the road (five in eight nights last week), and even before the road trip we had a lot of games and it kind of wore down on me.
