New Mexico basketball has dismissed forward Carlton Bragg Jr. in wake of an arrest early Sunday morning, the school announced in a release.
Bragg, a senior, was arrested in Albuquerque early Sunday morning and was charged with aggravated DWI and possession of under one ounce of marijuana, according to the Albuquerque Journal.
Bragg, the No. 24 overall recruit in the 2015 recruiting class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings, was in his second season with the team. He was averaging 12.6 points per game on 53.7 percent shooting from the field to go along with 10.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game this season for the Lobos.
