The Brooklyn Nets have dealt with multiple injuries to their superstar trio this season. They will be without two of them on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, James Harden is being ruled out for his second consecutive game.
Besides Harden, Kevin Durant has also been ruled out, but a return for the former MVP is imminent. As for Harden, the All-Star shooting guard is dealing with a hamstring ailment that he suffered in Wednesday’s victory over the Houston Rockets.
The injury caused him to miss Brooklyn’s showdown with the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday, which resulted in a 22-point win for the Nets. Ever since Harden joined Brooklyn via trade early in the season, he’s been operating as the team’s main facilitator on the offensive end of the floor.
