The Nets have agreed to acquire Marcus Thornton from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Jason Terry and Reggie Evans, league sources confirmed. Brooklyn will be hoping Thornton, a 26-year-old shooting guard, is able to rediscover his shooting stroke. He is a career 36 percent 3-point shooter who is under 32 percent this season. Terry and Evans are both veterans who were either barely in or out of the rotation most nights. The trade will add a little more than $700,000 in salary for the Nets, which means an additional couple million or so in luxury-tax payments.
