James Harden would reportedly prefer to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets above all else. Presumably, it’s so he can reunite with former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Kevin Durant.
Brooklyn has a few interesting pieces but it’s unclear if they are willing to package everything in an attempt to pair Harden with Durant and Kyrie Irving. While everyone is focused on Harden and the Nets, it’s worth keeping in mind that trades need to work for both teams. The Rockets also have to like what they’re getting back.
