The Memphis Grizzlies held on to one of the biggest assets prior at the trade deadline in guard/forward Tyreke Evans, who has proven one of the very few shining points of this otherwise faulted season. Among the suitors for the much-coveted dynamo were the Boston Celtics, who reportedly wanted him to bolster their depth, able to play in three different positions, thanks to his vision and 6-foot-6 frame. According to Mark Murphy of The Boston Herald, Evans could receive plenty of interest once again during the offseason, with the Celtics once again likely to dart another shot at acquiring him. “A little bit,” said Evans, “Definitely want to talk to my family and my brothers, my agent. Hopefully we’ll make the right choice.”
