Terry Pegula, while delivering season tickets Wednesday to a handful of lucky fans, also delivered big news regarding defenseman Tyler Myers. "Tyler ain't goin' anywhere," the Buffalo Sabres owner said. The Sabres are in the final stages of a long-term contract extension with their rising star on the blue line. The 21-year-old is set to enter the final year of his three-year, entry-level contract, but it won't be his final season in Blue and Gold. "We had two sides that wanted to stay together," Myers' agent, J.P. Barry, said by phone. "Tyler wanted to remain a Sabre, and having this done at an early stage was something that he wanted. He's happy that the club approached him about wanting to do this early."
