The Middle Tennessee State secondary will get a boost next season after former Purdue cornerback Kenneth Major announced he had committed to the Blue Raiders on his Twitter page.

Per NBC Sports, Major intends to leave as a graduate transfer, which would make him eligible for the 2020 season and leave him with one more season of eligibility in 2021.

Major — the sixth defensive player from the Boilermakers to enter the transfer portal since the end of the season — held offers from Western Kentucky, Tennessee-Martin and Southeast Missouri State. He originally committed to WKU but decommitted and followed head coach Jeff Brohm to Purdue.
