The Kansas City Chiefs could be on the verge of trading star cornerback Marcus Peters. Last week, a report came out that executives around the league were questioning whether Kansas City’s recent moves were a precursor to such a deal, and now another NFL insider is chiming in. The recent moves that indicate Kansas City could trade Peters involve the Alex Smith trade, which will bring Kendall Fuller over from Washington, and the one-year deal signed by former Oakland Raiders cornerback David Amerson. Peters has been an outstanding player since being drafted No. 18 overall in 2015. Since then, he’s racked up 19 interceptions and quickly become one of the most feared cover corners in the entire league.
