It’s almost go time for Franklin Morales. Morales will likely be activated off the disabled list on Tuesday, according to Red Sox manager John Farrell. At that point, Morales, who has been used as both a starter and reliever in the past, is expected to join Boston’s bullpen. Morales has been on the DL all season. The left-hander was diagnosed with a low back strain during spring training, and then developed an issue in his pectoral muscle during his 30-day rehab stint. Morales now arrives in Boston after posting a 3.18 ERA in 17 inning split between Single-A Greenville, Double-A Portland and Triple-A Pawtucket.
