Veterans Al Jefferson and Mo Williams are expected to play in the Jazz's preseason opener Monday night at Golden State. Prior to Sunday's practice, coach Tyrone Corbin said Jefferson and Williams were held out of Saturday's public scrimmage as a precaution because they were "a little banged up." Asked if they would play against the Warriors, Corbin said, "I think they will be fine." Jefferson was disappointed to miss the scrimmage but looks forward to the preseason opener. "I wanted to play," he said. "But coach told me to take it easy because I kind of hurt my groin in practice. But it's fine. The coaches just wanted me to take it easy."
