Major League Baseball has announced the schedule for the 2020 season, which will officially begin with all 30 teams playing Thursday, March 26.

MLB Communications cataloged some noteworthy contests on next season's calendar, including the first game at the Texas Rangers' new stadium - Globe Life Field - scheduled for March 31 against the division-rival Los Angeles Angels.

Additionally, after Boston Red Sox left-hander David Price ridiculed MLB for this year's light schedule on Jackie Robinson Day, 28 teams will see action on Wednesday, April 15. Only the Seattle Mariners and Washington Nationals will have an off day.
