Maybe the Phillies will just try to bash their way to October.

While it’s probably safe to assume an arm (or two) will land in Philadelphia between now and July 31, there’s at least a chance that Phillies general manager Matt Klentak finds a different way to improve a first-place club.

One possible outside-the-box idea: Boost an offense that’s already undergone a major transformation.

With the Nationals sputtering and looking more and more like baseball’s biggest disappointment, speculation has already begun about Anthony Rendon on the trade block.
