There aren't many impact pitchers left on the free agent market. The biggest one still available is former NL Cy Young Award winner Jake Arrieta. According to USA Today's Bob Nightengale, Arrieta might join the current NL Cy Young Award winner, Max Scherzer, in Washington Arrieta would be quite a steal for the Nationals, who won the 2017 NL East Division title with a rotation anchored by Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg and Gio Gonzalez. Scherzer won the NL Cy Young Award in 2017 and 2016. Arrieta won the award in 2015 when he anchored the Chicago Cubs rotation.
