It hasn't been the greatest statistical season of Michael Young's career, but it's another standout year for the way he impacts the clubhouse. On Sunday in Toronto, Young was 3-for-5 with five RBIs and ended an 88-game home run drought and a season-long 12-game RBI slump. "Everybody in here ... Nobody doubts what Michael Young can do, what he's done throughout his career. Not just on the field, but off the field he's what you look at when you say the core of the Texas Rangers," first baseman Mitch Moreland said. "He's the guy everyone goes to and looks up to. What he did [Sunday] is small compared to what he's done in the clubhouse all year and throughout his career for this organization and this team."
